Dandelion. To me the word sounds like dandy lion. People where I grew up tried to keep them out of their yards. I like them.

We got a cat from the animal shelter. A month after we brought her home she gave birth to five kittens.

I Like Lines

If I could stop driving to take a picture every time I saw something I wanted a picture of I would have much better pictures. As it is, my purse camera is almost always with me, and provided I remembered to put a memory card in it (it has no internal memory) I can grab it out of my purse and snap a picture pretty quickly, and I am almost always watching for something to take a picture of, so often times I just keep it out when I'm driving. Even better, if my husband is there I just ask him to drive.

Anyway, I like lines, all lines, so here are a few pictures with lines.



I like the lines going across the picture, but I like the ones on the side that are heading to a far of point even more.


I like the lines on the road, the power lines, and the line of the curb. I also like Sepia mode.


The power lines going straight down the road, very business-like, in contrast with the curving turn lane make a nice contradiction.

Are Dogs Solar-Powered Too?

And do blog titles need caps on each word? My dog likes to carry her stuffed squeaky toy around with her. They also like to nap together.

This is my finger. My finger is wrapped in a Sponge Bob band aid.

Playing With Focus

Moon, I Love You.

I got a tripod for Christmas. I love the moon. It's easier to take pictures of the moon against a blue sky than at night when it is dark and the moon is bright and blurs, I am experimenting with when to take it and with which settings. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the moon.
